Krunatun
Started in March 2024, Krunatun is a research and museum project by MWA aimed at exploring for the first time the architectural history of the Longobard County that had seat in the actual Corleto Monforte (Salerno, Italy).
The project is in partnership with 24 towns and in collaboration with the Cilento, Vallo di Diano, and Monti Alburni National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
In December 2024, the first historical and non-invasive archaeological research stage was published in the book Krunatun.
In 2025, the research has been extended to the national scale.
In June 2026, the project has received the attention of the Italian Ministry of Culture for a first funding aimed at archaeological research and the project of the museum.
