Buhovo Technological Center for Wellness Research

The Buhovo Technological Center for Wellness Research is the response of the Capital City of Sofia to the European Green Deal. A project of urban regeneration in the Town of Buhovo, on private and public lands, in the Buhovo-Kremikovtsi area, within the district of Sofia, gateway to Stara Planina Nature Park and the Mountain Biosphere Reserves.

White Oak Arkitecture developed the concept of the Museum and the Botanical Park in partnership with the Sofia-based Mazevatti Group.

The concept of the Botanical Park is based on the motto "Nature is not the limit, but the strength of urban regenration", developing a material and symbolic path connecting the tech-center to the museum through four sections representing the elements of Life, land, air, water, and fire. The project includes the Healing Forest and a Korean Garden.

The concept was deposited at the Capital City of Sofia in December 2023, with required investment of 2M €, on a total estimated cost of 24M €.
